Fully filled water bottle when placed in the freezer observed that the next day the bottle bulges at the bottom and sometimes the bottle may get damaged
This is only because of the water unique property. All most all substances in the universe expands when heating and shrinks while cooling, where water is exemption from them because water having a unique property which it shrinks when heat and expands while cooling
Because of the versatile behavior of water, it expands while cooling up to 4°C on further cooling it contracts up to 0°C
When bottle full of water placed in a freezer it starts cooling, and water also starts expanding, as we talk if we filled the water fully then because of the insufficient space in the bottle it tries to expand, and the bottle may bulge.So, always keep some space for air while filling water is good
